This page explains what we can and cannot help with, and where to direct questions about official Major County warrants. Most requests belong with the sheriff's warrant unit or the court that issued the warrant, not with us - the routing below sends each need to the right place.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the sheriff's warrant unit or the issuing court directly.

Need Official Warrant Information?

Here's where to route the questions most people ask about in Major County:

  • Whether a warrant exists: contact the sheriff's warrant unit, the office that serves warrants and can confirm an outstanding one by name and date of birth
  • A bench warrant for a missed court date: contact the court that set the case - often a municipal or justice-of-the-peace court - since that court issued and holds the warrant
  • Resolving or clearing a warrant: talk to a licensed Oklahoma attorney and the issuing court about a recall, a surrender, or posting bond
  • An arrest warrant tied to a charge: the issuing court sets the charge and bond; the sheriff's warrant unit serves it

For a county-level warrant question, contact the Major County Sheriff's Office, 500 E Broadway Suite 4, Fairview, OK 73737, at 580-227-4471. Administrative hours are generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; dispatch remains available 24/7. Records counter hours are generally Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call before traveling because posted hours and record availability can change.

Major County Court Clerk

The Major County Court Clerk is the primary county court-record route: 500 E Broadway Suite 5, Fairview, OK 73737, 580-227-4690, generally open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The clerk can explain how to request a public docket or case record. The separate County Clerk handles administrative, land, budget, and payroll matters, so it is not the criminal warrant counter.

City Court Questions

Municipal citations and city-code cases belong with the city court that set the appearance date. Fairview's court meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, and its summons controls the date and time. For Fairview court questions, email courtc@fairviewok.org or call Fairview Police at 580-227-2390 for the non-emergency line. Ringwood directs warrant questions to the Major County Sheriff.
